On Feb. 6 the Devine ISD Board of Trustees unanimously adopted a resolution concerning weather-related school closures; the motion was moved by Trustee Chris Davis and seconded by Trustee Alixana Buvinghausen and passed 5-0.

The Devine Independent School District Board of Trustees voted to adopt a resolution regarding weather-related school closure during its called meeting on Feb. 6, 2025. Trustee Chris Davis moved to adopt the resolution, and Trustee Alixana Buvinghausen seconded; the motion passed with a 5-0 tally and two trustees absent.
