The Road & Bridge committee reported and the county board approved several infrastructure actions on May 20. Hopkins presented motions that the board approved: awarding the Lowell Park Road culvert and intersection improvements (23-00347-00-BR) to Martin & Company Excavating (R-2025-0507); awarding a 12,000-gallon above-ground fuel dispensing tank contract to Crowne Industries Ltd. (R-2025-0508); adopting the NW Illinois Safety Action Plan and committing to Vision Zero (R-2025-0509); and approving a petition for county aid for Pine Rock Township culvert replacement (25-20130-00-BR, R-2025-0510).
