The board voted on grouped policy updates presented by Superintendent Heather Bohati. Section 1 was approved unanimously (6–0). Section 2 included proposed language for policy IKB (Controversial Issues); during discussion one board member stated they would not vote for the section because the phrase 'fair and accurate' could be difficult to define in practice and might create unintended constraints on classroom discussion.
