The Santa Rosa City Council voted to terminate Maintenance Technician Estevan Chavez after Councilman Erasmo Bravo read three charges the council found him in violation of. A motion by Councilwoman Roberta Blea for a one-week suspension and anger-management classes received no second; Councilman Joey Silva then moved for termination, which carried on a 4–0 roll-call vote (Bravo: Aye; Romero: Aye; Blea: Aye; Silva: Aye).
