Town Administrator reports progress on Knowles fencing, drainage and Onnie Ranch work

The Town Administrator updated the Planning and Zoning Commission on multiple development projects in and around Copper Canyon, saying crews have completed much of the perimeter fencing at the Knowles site and have installed light poles and street signs.

“They're making progress on the fence…the east side's done, the north side, and by almost all the, west side as well,” the Town Administrator said, noting wet weather has slowed final work on the front side.

The administrator said phase‑3 drainage that runs through the town limits has been largely finished but that one section remains under construction. He also reported Onnie Ranch contractors are “cutting in all the streets and doing all the dirt work,” and that TMP performs the town’s inspections for construction, drainage, and erosion control across the active projects.

The administrator said staff will continue regular inspections and will follow the town's acceptance procedures once each project reaches completion.
