Plan Commission recommends updated solar energy regulations

The City of Columbia Plan Commission voted to recommend approval of amendments to Chapter 17.42.070 of the Zoning Code, which governs additional regulations for solar energy systems. Commissioner Mike Macik moved the recommendation and Commissioner Abby Wiese seconded; the roll call vote was recorded as unanimous.
