City adopts stream buffer protections into municipal code

The Columbia City Council passed Ordinance No. 3732 to add Chapter 17.64 (Stream Buffer Protection) to the municipal code. The motion, moved by Alderman Lawlor and seconded by Alderman Mayer, passed by an 8–0 roll-call vote on March 2, 2026.
