Commissioner Doug Shook told the council a DCEO grant agreement for storm sewer improvements (Parkway Drive to Strain Street) was ready for approval, but that the original design was a block short due to a mapping error. The city engineer is working to secure additional grant funding to cover the shortfall; if that fails, Shook estimated the city would need to budget roughly $75,000 from the street and sewer funds to complete the project.
