Lee Beckman briefed the council on several capital projects and grant opportunities. He said the storm sewer improvement project is progressing with a bid letting anticipated this summer, and the ITEP project will be constructed after Water & Madison Street improvements and Metro construction are complete. Beckman said the Safe Routes to School project will begin after the school's construction and has a five-year timeline; bid advertising could occur in January or February for spring construction, though timing may shift.
