Communications staff request extra rollover lines, flag grant for 3‑D school mapping and camera/generator upgrades

Allen Lanus briefed commissioners on several communications and facilities matters. He said the 911 Council representative reviewed local phone issues and Lanus plans to add two rollover phone lines to provide extra capacity. Lanus also reported a Kansas 911 Council grant opportunity to fund 3‑D mapping of schools and said he would discuss the grant further at the Communications Board meeting.
