Friendship projects advance: Fellows Hall closing, Phase II testing and a draft National Register nomination at 50%

Board staff provided detailed updates on multiple Friendship properties and associated site work. The board was told closings for 2 Main St. and 4‑6 Main St. (Fellows Hall) were expected on July 24 per the attorney; closing responsibilities transferred to a new attorney. Phase II environmental testing for Friendship properties was tentatively scheduled to begin at the end of July, and bids for asbestos removal and demolition (12 Depot St.) had been received and opened during the meeting.
