Trustees proposed and approved a plan to onboard student representatives to the board. The proposal calls for two trustee liaisons to serve as ongoing points of contact for student members, oriented to the expectations and norms of participation. Board members agreed to volunteer by email; the district will make handbooks and NISP materials available and provide an orientation similar to board onboarding adapted to students' roles.
