The board approved routine business by voice vote, including the meeting agenda, submitted expenditures and a slate of meeting minutes for July and August. Commissioners then handled several appointments: they confirmed the county's representative to Colorado Counties, Inc. (CCI) as the voting delegate for 2026 and appointed a commissioner to serve on the Division of Water Conservation & Development (DWCD) Southwest Basin roundtable.
