Development Services staff presented the department’s FY2027 proposal, describing three divisions (land development, building development and code compliance), a $74,000,000 budget and a number of vacancies. The presentation proposed a staged increase of permit-revenue assumptions: a 15% increase in the first year followed by two additional 20% increases over three years, with the first step to be implemented Sept. 17.
