County reports recurring electrical problems at well #3; surge suppressor expected in 20 days
County Manager Thomas Weaver and water department staff reported ongoing electrical problems at well #3, said Burgamy Electric has performed repairs, and that a surge suppression system under manufacture in Texas is expected in about 20 days; in the interim the county may use a window unit and consider an electrical contractor or line‑vault replacement.

At the Sept. 2 regular meeting and again during the Sept. 22 work session County Manager Thomas Weaver briefed the commission on persistent issues with the Fire Tower Road water tank and well #3. Staff believe the problem is electrical rather than mechanical and said Burgamy Electric has completed most repairs to date.
