City Administrator Matt Wolf briefed the council on a city-owned parcel at the end of Jewell Street (Parcel 27101178-0200) and a preliminary concept to acquire additional right-of-way from the Prescott School District via a Certified Survey Map (CSM). Staff solicited quotes to prepare the CSM; Brandon King Land Surveying quoted $2,000 and Ogden Engineering quoted $2,300–$2,500 depending on additional title work. Alderperson Lindsey Sorenson stated a preference for the $2,000 quote. The council approved Brandon King Land Surveying for the Jewell Street CSM (motion by Sorenson, second by Granquist), and the motion passed without a negative voice vote.
