The Kermit ISD Board of Trustees approved three visitor-area projects for Walton Field during a special called meeting on Feb. 25, 2025. Superintendent Schneider recommended the work — visitor field house additions, a concession/restroom and a visitor press box — and Trustee Miguel Urquidi moved to approve the package, with Trustee Ramiro Antillon seconding. "The motion was approved with a favorable unanimous vote."
