Tim Brown gave the council an operational update on the on-site sewer disposal system (OSDS) inspection program, which began mid-June and has operated primarily with three inspectors while two new hires train. Brown said the department has completed 1,144 inspections across program categories: 859 inspections under the new ordinance-based program, 153 under the existing SIP north of the urban growth boundary, and the remainder as property-transaction inspections.
