Chief Rebus delivered an administrative report for the sheriff’s office and fire marshal division, listing enforcement and public‑safety statistics, permit activity and jail population figures. Among the figures he cited: 2,556 total calls for service, 80 criminal reports taken, 59 arrests, 428 traffic citations and a jail population of 263 (as of Sept. 2).
