DHCD to expand down‑payment aid and launch critical‑workers program
DHCD told the committee it doubled Pathway to Purchase down-payment assistance from $25,000 to $50,000 and plans two new programs: a Homeownership Equity program (up to $30,000 for properties inside the Beltway) and a Critical Workers Housing program (up to $50,000 loans for police, nurses, teachers and other essential county workers).
