The commission approved a dispatch agreement with the City of Raton that, as discussed, covers dispatch services for volunteer fire departments across the county. Commissioners asked whether the agreement included all county fire departments and what backup options exist; the sheriff replied the agreement does include volunteer fire departments and that there is currently no backup provider in place.
