The Dec. 6, 2024 special meeting agenda for the Santa Rosa Independent School District specified how members of the public could register to speak: interested speakers were instructed to email [email protected] on Dec. 5, 2024 between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. with their full name and the topic they wished to address. The agenda states that "Per policy, each public comment speaker will be allotted 3 minutes" and that the board does not need to respond and may not deliberate during the public comment period, citing Board Policy BED(local).
