Council approved a contract award to RevTech Services for information‑technology security, cybersecurity and IT support services in the amount of $338,596.88. Summer, the staff presenter, said the city issued an RFP because the existing contract no longer matched operational and security needs and because the incumbent had proposed a fee increase without adding services. "Our existing IT contract no longer accurately reflects our operational and security needs," Summer told the council, adding that the recommended vendor provided the best combination of service, security and cost.
