Committee authorizes acting chair to finalize BESS ordinance edits and forward to ZBA
Greg Niewold moved and the committee unanimously authorized Acting Chair Cindy Ihrke to make suggested text changes to the County's BESS ordinance and then send the amended text to the Zoning Board of Appeals for hearing.

The committee reviewed draft text amendments to the Ford County Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) ordinance and discussed suggested changes. The minutes note the committee "went through the entire ordinance and reviewed changes, made suggestions, and agreed on further text amendments."
