Staff says plan‑commission‑approved Avon stream relocation frees space for development and preserves trail option
Staff told the board a minor realignment of the Avon stream was approved by the plan commission to increase developable area for the parcel and that the proposed development would not prevent a future trail along the Avon corridor on the opposite bank.

Staff informed the board that the plan commission previously approved a slight relocation of the Avon stream to allow a larger developable area for the subject site. "that stream to allow, a better, larger, developable area for this site," the staff member said while describing the plan‑commission action. Staff also said the designated common area across the waterway would remain and that the development would not impair a future trail on the other side of the stream.
