Santa Rosa ISD board approves six contracts including major grant technical assistance and safety systems

The Santa Rosa ISD Board of Trustees approved six action items over $25,000 during its July 28 meeting. Approved items included an ASCENDER Business & Student subscription ($55,187.50), a TASB worker’s compensation renewal ($143,587.00), TASB liability/privacy/auto coverage ($38,567.00), student athletic insurance ($26,518.00), LASO Cycle 4 Instructional Systems Grant technical assistance with Region One–HQIM ($334,600.00), and a preventative maintenance contract for CAHS ($57,050.00). The motion was moved by Rachel Olivarez, seconded by Juan M. Perez, and recorded as carrying 6–0.
