The Fairfield Planning Commission unanimously voted on July 29 to recommend the Town Council adopt a text amendment clarifying how front-yard setbacks apply on corner lots in Agricultural Residential zones. Planner Jim Spung told the Commission the amendment would not change existing setback distances but would specify that the required front setback applies to both street frontages on corner parcels and would apply to principal and accessory structures.
