Chair introduced an agenda item to accept a FY27 Alabama Department of Youth Services (DYS) GRAMA award totaling $343,431 for the St. Clair County day program, which provides statutorily required education to juveniles arrested and held in custody. "Item number 1, discuss approval of the FY 27 Alabama Department of Youth Services Agency Grama Agreement Award in amount of $343,431 for the Saint Clair County day program," the chair said, and commissioners agreed to place the grant acceptance on the upcoming commission agenda.
