HCPS recognized as Project ADAM Heart Safe School system; nurses acknowledged
Board members announced that Henrico County Public Schools has met Project ADAM benchmarks and is the largest division in Virginia with Heart Safe School designations at every school; school nurses were recognized and Dr. John R. Phillips of Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU was cited as affiliate.

Board members announced HCPS has achieved Project ADAM Heart Safe School designations at every elementary, middle and high school in the division, calling it a milestone for cardiac emergency preparedness. The chair said this distinction "makes Henrico County Public Schools the largest school division in the state to fully meet Project ADAM's rigorous benchmarks for cardiac emergency."
