Senator Myers urged the Senate to approve SB84 so insurance will cover prostate cancer screening in line with current clinical guidelines and to reduce out-of-pocket costs that can deter preventive care. "When found early, prostate cancer has a 100 percent survival rating," Myers said, arguing that the bill will promote earlier diagnosis and better outcomes.
