The Senate read a resolution commending the Lift Off Louisiana team for its successful selection as one of eight nationally recognized proposals in the Federal Aviation Administration’s Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing and Advanced Air Mobility Integration Pilot Program. The clerk read language naming the Department of Transportation and Development’s Office of Multimodal Commerce, the Houma Terrebonne Airport, and the Gulf of America Center of Excellence for Large Unmanned Aircraft Systems as partners in the project.
