Local groups present program and budget requests for Richmond’s 2026 draft

During Privilege of the Floor, community representatives outlined program plans and budget requests for 2026. Shanna Butler of the Honeoye Community Players asked for continuing involvement and financial support for the Holiday Hometown event, noting, “This is the 11th year for the Holiday Hometown event,” and previewing returning features such as the polar dunk and a new chili cook-off. Karen Sloane of HMSE reported on community input collected at the Welcome Back Bash and described efforts to involve students in Main Street visioning and activities.
