County selects Innovate Engineering and approves CDBG‑DR submittal for Riverside Road
As part of a Community Development Block Grant–Disaster Recovery application for Riverside Road, Lowndes County selected Innovate Engineering as engineer of record (top‑scored RFP) and unanimously approved a resolution authorizing the Southern Georgia Regional Commission to submit the grant application.

Mr. McLeod said Lowndes County plans to apply for 2026 CDBG‑DR funding for Riverside Road and must meet conflict‑of‑interest rules and select a civil engineer through an advertised RFP. Staff received 11 submissions and scored the top three as Lovell Engineering & Associates, Innovate Engineering and Access Engineering; Innovate scored highest on the commissioner motion and was approved as engineer of record.
