A commissioner reported details from a Community Action update on eviction prevention: in July the agency received approximately 4,200 calls from 455 unique callers and scheduled 45 appointments; in August it received about 1,700 calls from 432 unique callers and scheduled 94 appointments. She said the phone line is open just one day each month and appointments fill quickly.
