District bond update: modular classrooms placed, occupancy permit expected after Thanksgiving
Bond project contractor reported that modular classrooms have been permitted and placed; electrical and finish work is underway and an occupancy permit was expected after Thanksgiving, with students to move in after winter break. John Abel of Cornerstone presented the bond program update and told the board that modular classrooms (portables) have been permitted and placed and that electrical, data and fire-alarm work is ongoing. The presentation stated an occupancy permit should be ready after Thanksgiving and students are expected to move in after the winter break.
