Trustee Victor Bonilla III moved and Trustee Peggy Young seconded approval of an innovative course titled "General Employability Skills" during the Aug. 25 special meeting. The board approved the course by a 6-1 vote, with Trustee Vince Martinez recorded as voting against the measure.
