The board approved a food-service contract with Mahube Otwa for 2026–27, accepted multiple first readings of handbooks and approved hires, resignations and volunteers (including hire Abigail Sacket and addendum hire Brian Bass 0.5 FTE HS choir). Hoyt recused on the minutes approval item.

The Park Rapids Area School Board approved a food-service contract with Mahube Otwa for the 2026–27 school year and completed first readings of the Activities Handbook, Coaches Manual, Elementary and High School Handbooks, Employee Handbook, Substitute Handbook, PRAVA Handbook and Technology Implementation Handbook as part of the consent items.
