CFISD board authorizes superintendent to approve personal service agreements under state code

During the Jan. 15 meeting, the board considered first readings of policy revisions and a motion to authorize the superintendent to enter personal service agreements under Texas Education Code Section 11.006. Trustee Justin Ray moved that the board authorize the superintendent to approve agreements described in the agenda — including a personal service agreement with Region 4 Education Service Center and Kelly Mock and agreements with Safal Partners involving district staff — and the motion passed 7‑0.
