After convening a closed session under Texas Government Code Sections 551.074 and 551.082, the Devine ISD Board reconvened and voted to hire Kandy Stein as Director of Transportation & Facilities on the superintendent's recommendation. Trustee Renee Frieda moved the hire and Trustee Alixana Buvinghausen seconded; the minutes record the motion as passing with a tally of Yea: 5, Nay: 0, Absent: 2.
