The Pewitt CISD Board of Trustees approved the superintendent's employment contract after reconvening from executive session at 9:31 p.m. on Jan. 12, 2026. The approval came on a motion by Mark McCoy, seconded by Ryan Bailey, with all seven trustees recorded as voting aye.
