The Angleton Independent School District Board of Education voted unanimously on March 18, 2026 to interview seven applicants for the superintendent position. The board convened in executive session to review applications with representatives of the Texas Association of School Boards and, upon returning to open session, approved the number of applicants to advance to interviews.
