Housing authority board approves voluntary transfer of voucher program to Greeley

The Weld County Housing Authority on Aug. 24 approved a voluntary transfer of the county's Housing Choice Voucher program to the Housing Authority of the City of Greeley under PIH Notice 2018-12 and authorized the chair to sign the intergovernmental agreement and a letter to HUD. Bruce, who introduced the item for staff, said, “This is to transfer the housing voucher program to Greeley,” noting Greeley would issue vouchers countywide.
