At its Aug. 26, 2026 regular meeting, the Abbott ISD Board of Trustees voted to delegate authority to Superintendent Eric Pustejovsky to obligate the district under Texas Education Code 48.257 and TEC 49 Subchapters A and D. Trustee Denton Tucker made the motion and Trustee Clay Snokhous seconded; the motion passed unanimously, 5-0.
