Commission approves Lyndon Pride courthouse events and Melvern Lake permits
The commission approved use of the courthouse lawn for Lyndon Pride's fall festival on Oct. 3 and tree lighting on Dec. 5, and approved special-event permits for rides at Melvern Lake and the Lawrence Bicyclist Club on Oct. 10, 2026.

County commissioners approved multiple special-event permits and public-space uses on Aug. 5. Kevin Culley requested use of the courthouse lawn on behalf of the Lyndon Pride Organization; the board approved use for a fall festival on Oct. 3 and a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony on Dec. 5. The commission also approved special-event permits for the Lawrence Bicyclist Club ride on Oct. 10, 2026, and a separate special event at Melvern Lake on the same date.
