Multiple residents used the public‑comment period at the Aug. 5 Osage County commission meeting to praise the county's moratorium and ban on solar projects and to raise local pollution concerns. Diane Denham, Niana Flax and others expressed thanks for the moratorium. Dominic Ciccarelli said he owns a private road and has been raising concerns for over a year about what he called industrial waste dumping by A-1 Pump and Jet; he said he has taken the matter to the state and is now pursuing legal counsel. Tricia Webb of Land Development advised about township information for affected properties.
