Road and bridge repairs flagged; engineers suggest 3‑ton limit for F Rd structure
County road staff reported multiple problem locations including 100 Rd, P Rd and a bridge on F Rd where Penco Engineering recommended removing overburden and considering a 3‑ton limit because a 6‑ft tube is not suitable.

Road Superintendent Travis Story and visiting participants reported several local road concerns during the Oct. 27 meeting. Story said 100 Rd (Hwy 8 to L Rd) will be patched before winter and scheduled for full re‑rocking later; Justin Dallmann said wet conditions nearly caused an accident after 0.15 inches of rain. Story also said a dozer has been hauled to Concordia for repairs and that a DEF problem affected a mower.
