Drainage and culvert repairs were a central part of the Smith County Commissioners’ Jan. 20 discussion. Commissioner Brady Peterson reported trees growing in the ditch on 50 Rd between BB Rd and Highway 281 are contributing to debris buildup in a culvert, and he urged the county crew to clear or repair the tube before more debris accumulates.
