Board approves VDOT request to move small segment of old Route 58 into secondary system
At the request of VDOT, the board approved a resolution to move a roughly 0.1‑mile segment of old Route 58 from the primary to the secondary system, enabling the county later to discontinue that segment if desired; VDOT staff said the section appears to serve more than two properties and recommended transferring the right‑of‑way.

Rachel Brown, representing the Virginia Department of Transportation, briefed the board on a highway system change for a small section of old Route 58.
