Commission approves Jeff Prior variance despite one dissent; final plat for Rafter R tracts also approved
The commission approved a variance allowing a barbeque pit about 8 feet from the right-of-way on parcel 014168 (Jeff Prior) with Commissioner Busskohl voting nay over right-of-way concerns, and separately approved the final plat for Rafter R Tracts 3–5 (Parcels 009551 & 015694).

Planning Director Terri Kester presented two planning items. First, a variance request for parcel 014168 (Jeff Prior) to install a barbeque pit about 8 feet from the right-of-way was presented; the Planning Commission recommended approval. The County Commission approved the variance on a motion by Commissioner Mark Hartman, seconded by Commissioner Craig Hindle; Commissioner Michael Busskohl voted nay, citing concerns the pit was too close to the right-of-way.
