County engineer outlines 2027 road projects and recommends buying temporary Bailey-style bridge

County Engineer Mike Collins briefed commissioners on newly funded local-road projects (~$400,000), the 2027-2032 six-year transportation program and a 2026 bridge report (104 structures inspected; 60 over 20 feet). Staff recommended purchasing an 80-foot Bailey-style temporary bridge (~$200,000) to improve emergency response and reduce contractor dependency.
